Stay curious and learn new tricks.

I overheard a conversation in the hallway today.  One guy greeted another and said, “Hey, you need to send more of those tricks my way.  I’ve been using Excel for years and never knew I could do that.”  They continued down the hall talking intently about cells and formulas and data analytics.

There are so many good lessons here – a reminder that we can all learn new tricks. Even experienced people don’t know everything. We all get better by sharing what we know. And that learning and growing is energizing and fun.  These moments make working in teams more fun and create connections between coworkers. Shared experience can add up to better performance and more engagement. Curiosity and openness brings joy to your work.

Here is a challenge for you: What can you learn today?
